Our Arts Justice offerings are activating a generation of artists rooted in social justice and using creativity to birth a new world.


The Trans Alchemy Project’s ‘TransFire Residency’ is a 9-month (June 2022 - February 2023) low residency program for 3 - 4 TGNC+ (18+ yrs old) visual artists, performers, writers, and creatives of gender expressions, and abilities. Benefits for this residency includes: curated studio times, financial support for art supplies, workshops from arts professionals, an expense-paid retreat at Acorn Center for Restoration and Freedom . Artists will receive professional photos, video, and multiple opportunities for visibility (social media, virtual events, and live events).

Acorn Center for Restoration and Freedom is inviting Black Artists and Creatives (21 and over) to enjoy a special experience at our Retreat Center in Georgia, 60 minutes from Atlanta. Come enjoy an upscale off-grid experience on 8 acres of land, with a saltwater pool, pond, and medicinal herb farm. This artist weekend will be woven with virtual programming from Black Love Convergence, and special opportunities for art-making, wellness, and connection. Included in your stay are accommodations in one of our off-grid rooms or glamping sites (click here to view more about our accommodations), meals, and weekend activities.
